Shaun has been the convenor for the annual Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Parks Forum for over a decade. This year’s event, on the 7 March, addresses “Climate Change: Future Proofing Urban Parks” and a panel of speakers will present differing topics. Shaun’s presentation will focus on technical aspects to consider including the placement of resilient infrastructure above flooding, species selection for climate stress and tidal inundation as well as designing climate relief zones for heat emergencies.
